FINANCIAL AID
Nazareth Regional High School issues over $250,000.00 annually to families each year in need based financial grants, the largest amount of any private or parochial school in New York City. Families may apply by contacting the Admissions Office at Nazareth Regional High School (718-763-1100 ext. 228) after January 1st each year to receive an application for the 2008 -2009 school year.
Applications are mailed to an independent firm. F.A.I.R. (Financial Aid Independent Review) for analysis. Awards are based on families need weighted against other families applications. Average financial aid grants range between $500 - $3,000 per family and are contingent upon favorable academic and discipline reviews.
These grants are made available thanks to contributions to our schools “Naz Cares” Scholarship Fund by alumni, parents, foundations and other supporters. The increasing interest in our Endowment enables us to increase the amount of financial assistance made available to needy families.
ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS
Nazareth Regional High School distributes approximately $100,000 in academic scholarships to students in all four years, based on their TACHS Scores and interview. Scholarships are awarded to students for four years, based on maintaining academic goals set forth by Nazareth Regional HS. Full, three quarter, half and one quarter scholarships of the current tuition are offered to qualifying students. Contact our Admission Office for more details at 718 763-1100 ext 226.
Nazareth Regional High School does not offer Athletic Scholarships.
Nazareth Cares Scholarship Program
The Nazareth Catholic High School Scholarship Program (also known as "NAZ CARES") was initiated to aid Catholic elementary school students who wish to attend Catholic high school but lack the financial means to do so. Each of our Catholic elementary feeder schools may nominate students for this award. The student must be Catholic and have attended a Catholic school for at least three years, must have selected Nazareth as a choice on the co-op exam, and have passing grades.
