Open House at Nazareth Regional High School

Seventh and eighth grade students and parents are invited to join us to tour our campus and get information on curriculum, sports, student clubs, guidance, and admissions. This is a great opportunity meet our students, faculty and receive information about scholarships and financial aid.

 

 

 

Applicants for the 9th grade (NYC residents) are expected to take the T.A.C.H.S. Students who are registered are assigned a site to take the exam.

Applications for the T.A.C.H.S. test may be obtained from the local Catholic elementary school or high schools, Religious Education Offices, parishes or public elementary schools. Beginning in September, you may also register 7 days a week online at www.tachsinfo.com or via telephone 1-866-618-2247.

Deadline for paper registration: Oct. 11, 2009
Deadline for internet and telephone registration: Oct. 25, 2009

Catholic school students: Once you have submitted an application to take the T.A.C.H.S. test, the testing company will forward a 9th grade applicant record form to your 8th grade teacher. This application will contain information regarding a student's 6th, 7th, and 8th grade marks, conduct and attendance.

 

Public school students: Students must submit the application form to their current teacher and have it mailed to the Admissions Office at Nazareth Regional High School. If the form is not available, please submit copies of your 6th, 7th, and 8th grade report cards by Dec. 14, 2009.

 

High Schools will release admission notices to applicants.

 

Parents should mail in their forms and registration fees to secure a place in the freshmen class.

 

On this day, parents and students must complete an application and tuition form. Students will also be measured for uniforms.  A deposit of $500 is required on registration day.

After March 3th, 2010 Registration 

For those students who did not take the T.A.C.H.S. exam, please contact the Admissions Office at (718) 763-1100 Ext. 223 to schedule an interview for an "Immediate Decision". The student is required to bring in his/her 6th, 7th and 8th grade report card and upon acceptance will be required to take a placement exam.

 

 

Nazareth sponsors Open Admissions Days where we will interview your child and give you an immediate decision.  You must call to set up an appointment.  Open Admissions Days are scheduled for Saturday, May 1st from 10 am to 12 noon and on Thursday, May 27th from 3-6 pm.  Call 718-763-1100, ext. 229 or 223 to set up an appointment time.  These days are open to incoming freshmen and transfer students.
