The primary goal is to prepare all enrolled students for college level English coursework. Skills to be developed include literary analysis, critical essay composition, and note taking. The secondary goal is to prepare students for the AP Literature and Composition Exam in May 2007; a passing grade will earn you three college credits.
Performance Expectations
Remember that this is an elective class, so you have willingly chosen to enroll in a class which will ask for extraordinary effort, attention and focus from you. The coursework will be demanding and the only way to keep up will be to commit to success. Doing this from Day One will make success a great deal easier to come by.
